Liron David works as Policy and International Relations Chief Officer at Enosh – The Israeli Mental Health Association. Liron is developing Enosh’s global activity in the advocacy and implementation of the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disability in the mental health field, aiming to shape better policies that support community-based services, human rights, and recovery. Liron’s research promotes socio-legal knowledge on disability rights, human rights, access to social rights, and social services. Before Enosh, Liron served as a judicial clerk at the Israeli Supreme Court and as a legal adviser at the Israeli Ministry of Justice. Additionally, Liron is involved with the World Health Organization as a member of the Technical Advisory Groups on Mental Health Impacts of Covid-19 in the WHO European Region.
Liron has been a member of the Keystone Human Services International Board for over a year. In her words, she supports Keystone because “Keystone, as a leading organization in the disability field, implements in its day-to-day work the principles of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which I promote as an advocate in the global sphere. I am honored to support KHS’s goals and mission and bring it to the forefront of the international discussion on disability rights.”
Liron is an Israeli lawyer and social worker with a master’s degree in Human Rights law.
