As the largest of KHS’s subsidiary corporations, Keystone Service Systems (KSS) is designed to ensure continuity of support across various comprehensive systems of care.

KSS includes Intellectual Disability Services in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Intellectual Disability Services supports people with intellectual disability to live full, meaningful lives in their communities. Services include Life Sharing, Supported Employment, Residential Services, Behavior Support Services, Community Participation Support, Supported Living, and Housing Transition and Tenancy Sustaining Services.
KHS’s Autism Services are driven by each person’s goals. Programs are flexible and individualized, designed for adolescents and adults. Services include the Adult Community Autism Program (ACAP), the Vocational Initiative in PA, Residential Services, and Education and Training in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Each person’s experience with mental health conditions is unique, and KHS offers individualized services and opportunities for people to develop skills and acquire resources to reach their goals. Services include Community Residential Rehabilitation Services, Intensive Case Management, Domiciliary Care, Peer Support, Respite Services, Specialized Community Residences, Structured Residential Services, the Student Assistance Program, Supportive Living, and the Transitional Age Program.
Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD) breeds, raises, trains, and places assistance, hearing, and facility dogs to assist children and adults, including veterans, to gain confidence and live more independently. Each dog is individually matched and trained to form a successful partnership. Located in Grantville, PA, SSD relies on volunteers to help make these life-changing placements possible.

Capital Area Head Start (CAHS) provides comprehensive services, including educational, medical, dental, nutritional, and family social services, for children and families in Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties in Pennsylvania. Pre-kindergarten programs include Head Start, the Head Start Supplemental Assistance Program, and Pre-K Counts, serving children ages 3-5. Early Head Start serves children from birth to three, as well as expectant families.Â
