Dennis Felty Celebrated as Founder of Keystone Human Services

We recently celebrated our founder, Dennis Felty, for his incredible impact in not only founding Keystone Human Services but also advocating for disability rights. His leadership has helped shape the movement toward deinstitutionalization and community-based services in Pennsylvania and beyond.

Dennis served as KHS’s President and CEO until 2016. Under his leadership, KHS grew and evolved as people’s needs and the needs of the community changed, expanding throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, and New Jersey in the United States, as well as Moldova and India.

He began a tradition of KHS saying “yes” to many opportunities to support people to live full lives in the community, recognizing the universality of disability issues and the need for community-based services.

Thank you, Dennis, for your leadership, vision, and dedication to the KHS mission.Â
