Matt Miller Named 2025 Recipient of the Dr. Joseph Adlestein Professional Leadership Award

On November 18, 2025, Keystone Human Services (KHS) honored Matt Miller with the Dr. Joseph Adlestein Professional Leadership Award.

This award is given annually to someone in a professional role who is a powerful advocate for people with disability, supporting them to be valued and fully participating members of society.

Matt began his career with KHS in 1987 as a Direct Support Professional in Dauphin County, where he earned a reputation for compassion, reliability, and commitment to empowering people to determine their own lives. He worked closely with individuals and families to support autonomy, dignity, and inclusion.

In his current role as a Senior Business Analyst in the Information Technology department, Matt is recognized not only for his technical acumen in evaluating, implementing, and testing complex software solutions and training employees on their use, but also as a guiding voice, ensuring that every technology initiative upholds the mission and vision of KHS.

“In each of his roles within Keystone Human Services, Matt has brought a tireless advocacy for the people at the heart of our mission,” said Charles S. Sweeder, President and CEO of KHS. “His contributions are reflected in the enduring culture of respect and empowerment he has helped to cultivate at KHS.”
