Rediscover the past, assess the present, and envision the future alongside a community of people who care deeply about how people with disability are treated within our society and our communities. This fully participatory facilitated session will use a “crowd sourcing” technique as a discovery tool as we trace our personal, family, regional, and national past through the lens of disability as a human characteristic. From here, we’ll analyze where we stand now as a society, and craft a vision of a positive and possible future where everyone has a place at the community table. Together, we will create a visual portrait of our created work for us to share and celebrate, as well as commit to positive change.
