Tony Sacco joined First National Bank (FNB) in December 2010 to lead the start-up of a regional office in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining FNB, Tony was a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for PNC Bank. In his role with PNC Bank, Tony was a member of the Corporate and Institutional Banking Group for Central Pennsylvania. Tony was employed by Sterling Financial affiliate PennSterling Bank since its inception in April 2003. At PennSterling Bank he was responsible for all commercial lending activity within the PennSterling market area which included Berks, Schuylkill and the Tri-County Market (Montgomery, Chester and Delaware Counties). With over 25 years of banking experience, he previously served as the Commercial Lending Manager of Sovereign Bank’s Central Pennsylvania region. Prior to that, Tony was responsible for the commercial lending function at Main Street Bancorp, and was employed for 18 years by Meridian Bank in a variety of lending and loan administration functions. During a five-year absence from the financial services industry, Tony served as chief financial and chief administrative officer of J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills/Duofold, Inc., headquartered in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. J.E. Morgan was a wholly owned subsidiary of UK-based Dawson International. Morgan/Duofold employed over 3,000 people and was the world’s largest producer of warmth apparel.
Tony has served on numerous community boards including Blue Spruce Foundation, Community General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, Easter Seals of Berks County (Treasurer), and The Arc. He has also been actively involved in various civic endeavors, serving on the Golf Committee for the Mifflin Community Library, and as an appointed member of the Cumru Township Parks and Recreation Board, the Cumru Township Planning Commission, the Cumru Township Environmental Advisory board and as a member of the Cumru Township Zoning Ordinance Revision Committee. He also served as a member of the Cumru Township Board of Commissioners (President), a Board member for Crime Alert of Berks County and the Governor Mifflin Coordinating Council. He recently completed his role as Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign for Susquehanna Service Dogs. Presently, Tony serves on the Boards of Team PA, Keystone Service Systems, Inc., Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (Treasurer), Berks County Solid Waste Authority (Secretary).
Tony graduated from Tamaqua High School and Albright College, Reading, PA. He has also attended the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at Dartmouth College and the Central Atlantic School of Banking.
