John Whipple

John Whipple served as Vice President of Government Relations for McDonald’s Corporation where he was responsible for the company’s state, federal, and international legislative and regulatory interests, before retiring in 2001 after 25 years of service. He then led a public affairs advocacy firm for five years before assuming the role of President of the National Council of Chain Restaurants, retiring in 2010. 
 
After learning of the wonderful work Keystone Human Services has done and continues to do, John has been proud to serve as a member of the Keystone Autism Services Board for the past five years. John continues to be profoundly impressed with the professionalism and dedication of Keystone’s leadership and Keystone Autism Services staff.
 
John also serves as Vice Chair of the PA Prostate Cancer Coalition and is a graduate of Palmyra High School and Elizabethtown College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
